For all new projects under RDA’s domain in the vicinity, builders will not have to obtain a separate NOC from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). As per a press release, earlier, builders would have to contact the Survey of Pakistan and then approach the CAA to get an NOC for the height of their building.

RDA Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza said that these measures to simplify the process were in line with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision of making development simpler and facilitate the approval processes. He also met Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan and explained the need for this simplification, and stated that when a builder gets the NOC from the RDA, they should not need another one from the CAA.
