Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has asked the concerned staff to provide details on the maps approved during the last one year, reported a news source. The development authority will scrutinise the data for maps approved for all commercial and residential properties.

It was revealed that the inquiry was ordered after the RDA received a huge number of complaints regarding discrepancies in the map approval process. Reportedly, similar issues were reported in the transfer of plots and houses.

The RDA will look into the records for commercial and residential maps approved in the last one year to identify the false practices. For this investigation, the civic authority will also seek details from the owners of commercial and residential properties against which the maps were approved.
