Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has sealed five booking offices of illegal private housing societies, according to a news report. This is part of an effort to rid the city of illegal residential projects and illegal encroachments.
RDA Spokesman Hafiz Irfan gave details of this raid carried out by the RDA Building Control’s staff and police force at Saddar Rawalpindi. He also specified that booking offices of Abdullah City, Khanayal Homes, Gulshan-e-Farzand Ali, Ideal City, and Rawal Farm Houses were sealed. The plans for raids and illegal constructions have been spearheaded by RDA Director General Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry.
