Islamabad: Inflows through the Roshan Digital Account (RDA) have reached USD 8.953 billion by the end of October 2024, according to an article on November 24.

As shared in the details, this increase reflects a steady increase from USD 8.749 billion recorded at the end of September. Remittances for October alone amounted to USD 204 million, up from USD 168 million in September and USD 165 million in August.
The RDA initiative, aimed at facilitating Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRPs) and Pakistan Origin Card (POC) holders, continues to grow in popularity. It offers innovative banking solutions enabling seamless banking, payments, and investments in Pakistan. The number of accounts registered under the program rose to 757,587 in October, an increase of 11,336 from September’s total of 746,251 accounts. Overseas Pakistanis have actively contributed to various investment avenues through RDA.

By the end of October, investments included USD 393 million in Naya Pakistan Certificates, USD 687 million in Naya Pakistan Islamic Certificates, and USD 45 million in Roshan Equity Investment, underscoring the program’s success in attracting foreign investments.
