Rawalpindi: On instructions of Rawalpindi Development Authority Director General Rana Akbar Hayat, the civic body resumed the functions of its One-Window Cell after five years, reported a news source. The decision has been taken to effectively address public complaints.
The One-Window Cell was opened in the past to address public complaints and their queries, but it was closed down soon afterwards. This caused additional problems for people who had to move from one office to the other to get their issues resolved.
To address these problem at a priority basis, Hayyat order immediate restoration of the cell. Headed by RDA Assistant Director Hafiz Muhammad Irfan, the One-Window Cell started off with its operations on August 9.
