During a visit to Adiala Road, the DG ordered that the relevant authorities undertake a study on the fees and costs for the approval of unlawful residential and commercial buildings, commercialisation, supplemental maps and building plans. He also ordered that commercialization notices be issued and all unlawful residential and commercial constructions on Adiala Road and Shahpur Road to be regularized. He also warned sponsors and developers of unlawful housing schemes to stop publicising such projects on social and mainstream media until they had approval for the map and got no-objection certification (NOC) from the relevant agencies. He stressed that any breach of authority’s rules and regulations will result in the execution of lawful action.
