Rawalpindi: Punjab Finance Minister Ayesha Ghaus Pasha approved the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA)’s annual budget 2017-18, further instructing the authority to prepare the city’s master plan, according to a news source. She was heading the RDA board meeting.
Pasha also issued orders for hiring new staff to initiate and complete development of the Rawalpindi Ring Road and manage and expedite the launch of the RDA Housing Scheme. She also expressed concern over the RDA’s inability to meet set targets for commercial and plot transfer fees. The meeting, which was attended by senior RDA officials, also discussed the development projects planned for fiscal year 2017-18.
