Reportedly, RDA DG Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa has issued a letter to the municipal corporation and district council, stating that owing to the development of commercial high-rises, markets and residential land’s conversion to commercial use without WASA’s NOCs has shrunken the water supply and sewerage network of the agency. He opined that without expanding the capacity of the water and sewerage network, the new developments are straining the existing infrastructure and causing woes for citizens.
