Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has invited requests for proposals (RFPs) for the ‘hiring of a transaction advisor’ for the construction of two additional storeys on top of its parking plaza in Fawara Chowk – on a public-private partnership (PPP) basis, according to a new source published on July 26.

The request for proposals is invited from renowned, dynamic and experienced consulting firms or joint ventures – under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (PPRA). The hired firm is required to offer transactions and technical advisory services for legal, financial and technical project aspects – which is to be constructed on a PPP mode.

Moreover, the interested firms can obtain/purchase set of RFPs (on request) from the office of Deputy Director (Engineering) for a fee of PKR 2,500. However, the proposals for parking plaza extension should be completed and submitted on or before August 18.
Previously, the civic authority had floated tender for the construction of additional floors and announced that the PKR 10.33 million contract for the parking plaza extension will be awarded for two years on a time-sharing basis.
