Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Tariq Murtaza on Tuesday inaugurated a one-window centre at the civic agency’s office in the city, a news source reported. RDA Director General (DG) Ammara Khan, former RDA DG Nadeem Abro, and other officials concerned were all present at the occasion.

Commenting on the launch, Murtaza said that the new one window-cell utility was designed to reduce the need to travel and to bring all facilities offered by the RDA under a single platform. He further expressed his commitment to introduce online services for the citizens concerned.

He said that people will be required to submit their applications at the one-window centre and obtain a copy of their order from the same service. The centre will facilitate individuals seeking building approvals, property transfers, and general details regarding the local property marketplace, he added.
