Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza and RDA Director General (DG) Ammara Khan on Wednesday officially inaugurated the One-Window Operation Center (OWOC) by laying its foundation stone, according to news sources. The ceremony was held at the authority’s office, where the facility’s computerisation effort was also initiated.

Reportedly, the OWOC will do online processing of the property-related matters to make them efficient and hassle-free. The authority’s chairman addressed the ceremony and lauded the digital measure.

Moreover, the one-window facility is said to become operational in three months and will begin receiving online applications for further processing. The facility will not only enable the locals but also expatriates to submit their applications. With being accessible through the RDA’s official website, applicant can enter their window number to see their application status or any authority objections, if applicable.
