Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has finalised a plan to deal with illegal housing societies mushrooming on Chakri Road, reported a news source. The authority has marked 15 housing societies for which no approvals were sought.
In its operation against illegal developments, the RDA will seal their site offices, remove billboards and hoardings and also file application against the developers.
According to sources from RDA, some real estate developments on Chakri Road do not have basic infrastructure ready, yet the developers are seen engaging in launching marketing campaigns. These developers will no longer be allowed to launch such marketing campaigns. The RDA also warns public against investing in any such projects.
