Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has invited Expressions of interest (EOI)s from qualified town planning consulting firms to conduct digital field survey of under-construction, unapproved buildings within its jurisdiction, the news sources reported on March 7.

The RDA hired surveyor firm will be responsible for developing an Android application and conducting digital survey of buildings in the residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. The authority has asked the interested firms to submit their EOIs, fulfilling all the statutory regulations in compliance with the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (PPRA), along with the necessary documents. As per the EOI published, the authority seeks the following from the qualified firms to participate:
- Interested firms must provide a certified true copy of the Memorandum/article of Association, partnership deed, or joint venture agreement, and a certificate of registration with the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) along with the valid renewal letter until 2022 in the relevant project profile category.
- The firms must submit a list of permanent professional staff along with CVs of relevant core staff showing relevant project-wise experience with the exact time duration for each project, and an undertaking that they have not been blacklisted/defaulted by any government agency/department/organisation.

- The EOI must reach the office of the Director (LU&BC) RDA by March 22, 2023. The RDA reserves the right to disqualify any application if it contains false, fabricated, or materially incorrect information.
- Interested bidders can purchase the prequalification document by submitting a written application and paying a non-refundable fee of PKR 2,000 in favour of the Director (LU&BC), RDA. The bidding documents containing specifications can be downloaded from the RDA website.
- International firms must make a JV/consortium with a local firm/firms, and only a maximum of three firms are allowed to make a JV/consortium.
