As per the details, a total of 264 housing schemes in RDA’s administered area are illegal, which essentially means that the developers of these projects are selling property units without procuring a NOC from the authority. Most of these projects are located in Gojjar Khan, Murree, Kotli Sattiyan and Taxila.
In Rawalpindi District, 47 out of 136 housing schemes are RDA-approved, NOC issuance is in process for 19 projects, while 80 societies are illegal. In Murree, the approval process is underway for 8 projects, while 49 schemes are illegal.
