Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has directed private housing societies to submit detailed reports on their adherence to established rules and regulations. This directive was issued following a meeting on Saturday, chaired by Additional Director General Awais Manzoor Tarar, to review the compliance of various housing schemes with RDA’s regulatory framework.
The meeting, attended by representatives from key RDA branches, including Engineering, Estate Management, Planning, and Building Control, focused on ensuring that private housing societies comply with the Private Housing Scheme (PHS) Rules. The review also addressed adherence to approved Layout Plans (LOPs), payment of necessary fees, levies, fines, and the mandatory mortgage of plots, along with the transfer of amenity plots to the RDA.
