Rawalpindi: The Engineering Directorate of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) – upon the directives of RDA Director General Abdul Sattar Issani – has completed the dualisation work of Dr Qadeer Khan Road from Islamabad Highway to Falcon Complex Rawalpindi, according to news sources.

In the official statement, RDA Spokesperson revealed that the government of Punjab had released funds of PKR 40 million for Qadeer Khan Road dualisation project and that the remaining PKR 86 million were to be released after June 2021. However, he added, that the DG RDA made efforts and had PKR 86 million released early in March 2021.

After the expedited work pace by the Engineering Directorate, the project has been completed and the road has been opened for traffic. However, minor works like power poles and tuff pavers erection work is still underway and are expected to be completed soon.
