Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has ordered all illegal housing schemes to refrain from marketing their projects. In this regard, the development authority has served notices to the developers of the unapproved societies concerned.

The notice further instructs the developers to not carry out booking for the property units on offer. The notices have been issued under Punjab private Housing Scheme and Land Subdivision rules 2010.
Via this notice, the RDA has instructed the developers to implement the orders on an immediate basis. Developers failing to comply to the order will face legal charges.

In addition, the RDA has also requested the public from making an investment in housing schemes that haven’t received an NOC. Those investing in such projects will be responsible for their actions, warmed the development authority.
Furthermore, property dealers have also been instructed to not market or sell properties in such projects. The official website of RDA contains the updated list of the illegal housing schemes located in its jurisdiction.
