The developers were recently notified of these requirements on the orders of RDA Director General (DG) Captain (retired) Abdul Sattar Isani and the Director MP&TE under the provision of the Act and Punjab Private Housing Schemes and Land Subdivision Rules 2010.
Moreover, the civic agency has stated that it will cancel/withdraw the layout plans of the housing schemes in question if they fail to comply with its requirements.

According to reports, the said developers have run fake advertisements to lure public into investing in their projects. To prevent such malpractices, the RDA management has once again asked the general public to confirm the approval status of housing projects with the MP&TE Directorate or its website at rda.gop.pk
