Rawalpindi: The 47th governing body meeting of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) provided its approval to several important agendas with regard to the development of the city’s infrastructure, according to news sources.

To this effect, the participants sanctioned the Terms of Reference (ToRs) for the third party audit pertaining to the construction of a commercial complex on state land and the construction of two storeys atop the RDA Parking Plaza situated at the Fawara Chowk.

Furthermore, the meeting approved the establishment of shelter homes in the RDA Parking Plaza basement, grant of support allowance for Grade 9 to 16 RDA employees, as well as the allocation of quota for RDA officials in the private housing projects. For this purpose, a committee has been formed.
RDA Chairman Tariq Mehmood Mirza further provided his approval to the computerisation of a one window service and vowed that the civic agency would become a public-friendly institution. Moreover, he summoned the next meeting on March 21.
