In response, the MP&TE director informed the chairman that in order to ensure that people aren’t scammed, regular press releases, containing the approval status of housing schemes were being issued. The approval status of all housing schemes is also uploaded to the website for people to verify before investment, he added. He said that the MP&TE was taking strict action against housing schemes declared illegal under the Land Subdivision Rules 2010.
