Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) has decided to repair water supply schemes in the cantonment area at a cost of PKR 10 million, a news source reported. The repair will include work on filtration plants, and pipes.
A total of 43 schemes will be repaired under the project and these are located in Wards 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. Some of the areas needed repair according to the conditions while others were pointed out by RCB members. The areas where repairs will take place include Peshawar Road, Aliabad, Ashiana Chowk, Qasimabad, Allahabad, Daryaabad, Kumhar Road, Shaheen Pura, Babu Muhalla, Children Park, Mughalabad, Garooti, Kamalabad, Ghaziabad, Madina Colony, and Allama Iqbal Colony among others.
