The job has been handed over to the Survey of Pakistan. The RCB will install pillars to define the border once all cantonment land in the cities has be assessed.
The data for cantonment limits is already available on paper, according to RCB officials. The information needs to be computerized to end the dispute completely.

Approximately 2500 acres of land is under dispute between the two cities at the moment. Due to this reason, the RCB has trouble collecting property tax worth PKR 357 million every year. Additionally, civic authorities faced problems carrying out drives effectively, such as the ones against dengue, due to the dispute between the cantonment and the city.
