A senior RCB official stated that the civic body has taken this measure to curtail the operation of illegal cattle pens in the cantonment areas. He added that the RCB, as an alternative, would designate a special place for this activity.
The RCB official further stated that the market would be established in line with modern standards. He said that the facility would come equipped with a water supply, as well as veterinary doctors to monitor the animals’ health.
