The charges to be increased include development charges, security fees, and checking fees for the building plans for new constructions. Additionally, RCB has proposed a similar increase for mutation and conservation charges for already constructed buildings.
The building committee had also presented similar suggestions for increasing the charges in the last board meeting, which were not accepted.
Meanwhile, RCB has planned to carry out a digital survey of all the sites that fall within its jurisdiction. The civic body has appointed a team of experts, who will conduct the survey at a cost of PKR 30,000,000. Three cantonment officers will assist this team.
