Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) is taking all possible measures to regularise wedding halls in its jurisdiction – a news source reported.
The authorities have identified 18 wedding halls that have existed for as long as a decade, but even their layout plans were not approved by the RCB. These wedding halls have expanded over large areas and have been causing huge losses to the board.

General measures have resulted in failure of the RCB staff to regularise these halls, so the matter of their regularisation has now been handed over to a committee for resolution.
RCB has been under a financial crunch recently. This has resulted in the board being unable to implement its development agenda.
