Rawalpindi: To provide improved services and facilities to taxpayers, reforms are going to be introduced in Excise, Taxation & Narcotics department, a news source reported. Property Tax branch is going to be divided in four zones, while the Motor Registration Authority is going to be divided into two zones and separate Excise & Taxation Officers are going to be appointed there.
Previously, Rawalpindi had only Zones I and II for Property Tax, now union councils falling in Rawalpindi along with Morgah area will be combined to form Zone III, while Zone IV will be composed of Murree, Taxila, and Gojar Khan.
