Rawalpindi – Residents complain about the shortage of gas supply, with the advent of winter.
Residents say that with the fall in mercury level (temperature), the usage of gas has increased and furthermore the supply of gas to CNG stations worsens the situation.
Enough gas was received when supply to CNG stations was stopped, but when the supply was opened to CNG stations, domestic supply of gas got disturbed, said the residents.
The residents of Aria Mohallah, Chamanzar Colony, Tipu Road, Hafeez Road, Nighatabad, Muslim Colony and Awanabad complained about the suspension of gas supply for 12 hours a day.
Residents demand the political representatives and higher officials of the department to ensure smooth supply of gas for domestic use.
