Rawalpindi: The city police on Sunday shared its WhatsApp numbers with citizens for registering complaints in the wake of the coronavirus spread, a news source reported. According to a police spokesperson, following the cancellation of ‘khuli kutcheries’, the City Police Officer (CPO) will address the complaints of the citizens via WhatsApp and other social media platforms.

The spokesperson revealed that CPO Rawalpindi had issued directives to the police officers concerned about 42 complaints received through WhatsApp. He added that the CPO had contacted these citizens personally after receiving their complaints.
The police spokesperson said that complaints received in the CPO Complaint Cell were presented to CPO Muhammad Ahsan Younas. He added that upon receiving the complaints, the respective citizens will be assigned an E-tag number and provided an acknowledge receipt as well. He stated that citizens could use the following numbers on WhatsApp for registering complaints:
