Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Metropolitan Corporation (RMC) Building and Architecture Branch has surpassed its yearly revenue targets by PKR 430 million in the first 11 months of the fiscal year 2020-2021 (FY21), news sources reported. The total revenue generation was PKR 700 million against the total target of PKR 270 million, three times the set target.

Reportedly, the increase in revenue generation has been associated with the previous administrator’s revenue collection policies.

According to Chief Metropolitan Officer Ali Abbas, the revenue targets will be revised for the next fiscal year (FY22) to PKR 1 billion.
