Rawalpindi: The authorities have decided to add 11 new tax circles to Rawalpindi in order to increase tax collection and sent notices to 105,000 property owners, a news source reported.
The Rawalpindi Excise Department sent these notices to 105,000 new property owners in these circles. This measure is expected to meet the property tax collection targets set for the current fiscal year.

With the addition of these 11 new circles, Rawalpindi now has a total of 35 tax circles. Reportedly, the Excise Department has also appointed new tax officers in these circles. These officers have also receive directives to monitor tax collection in their respective jurisdictions.

Apart from this, Excise Taxation Officer Administrator Muhammad Sameer will be responsible for managing tax collection from people who owe property tax worth PKR 100,000 or higher.
