Rawalpindi: Attempting to increase its income, the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has approved the amendment in Outdoor Advertisement Regulations and increased the rates for outdoor advertisement services, reported a news source. With the amendments approved, the revenue generated from outdoor marketing will increased from PKR 140 million to PKR 190 million.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the PHA Board of Directors, which was chaired by PHA Chairman Malik Ibrar Ahmed. The meeting agreed to increase the number of billboards and awarding of contract to outsource collection of sky-sign fees.
Addressing the meeting, Ahmed said that PHA is working to improve conditions of public parks in the city and set up new ones.
