Islamabad: Pakistan Railways will seek further cooperation with Turkey for developing the railways sector, according to Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed.

He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting with Turkish Ambassador Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul at the Railways Headquarters on Friday.
The minister said that the incumbent government is committed to developing Pakistan Railways along modern lines. To facilitate this measure, it wants Turkey to provide expertise.

He further stated that he would take up railway matters with the Turkish officials concerned during the upcoming visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Pakistan.
