Peshawar: Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has said that the Rashakai Special Economic Zone (RSEZ) will be set up early, according to a news source. This will be done on a priority basis.
Khan directed the officials concerned to examine all project aspects to complete the work early. He added that foreign investors, especially those of Chinese origin, will be given all the necessary facilities. He also instructed the departments involved to hold a meeting with the Finance Minister and take some concrete steps.
The CM further stated that all possible support and facilities should be provided to promote economic activity within the region. This would provide a boost to the overall economy, and also generate jobs in the market.
Khan directed for a complete strategy related to all the legal aspects of early completion to be presented to him. These will be discussed in the next cabinet meeting for the consideration of further concrete measures. He opined that the establishment of SEZs should be taken as a top priority by the provincial governments.
