Multan: District administration has established 10 mobile Ramazan Bazaars in different areas of the city to provide essential items at low prices during the holy month, according to a news report in the national dailies on April 8.

Deputy Commissioner Amir Karim Khan inaugurated the Ramazan Bazaar in the Gulgasht area, whereas Assistant Commissioner (AC) Khawaja Umair gave a briefing on the project. Talking about the project, DC Khan revealed that mobile bazaars will be covering different routes throughout the city. He went on to say that high-quality commodities will be available for the locals. He highlighted the main purpose of the mobile bazaars was to facilitate the citizens at their doorsteps.

In another development, the DC Khan inaugurated ‘Iftar Dastar Khwan’ that was set up at the general bus stand. The DC distributed free iftar dinner among the deserving people in the district council. He mentioned that the administration will further introduce initiatives for people. A large number of people were facilitated through Ehsaas Dastar Khwan, said the deputy commissioner.
