Lahore: The Pakistan Railways is going to provide house rent facilities to all its employees, a news source reported. The notification on the matter will be issued after its formal approval by Railways Chairman Javaid Anwer.
According to the notification issued by Railways Ministry, all employees from Grade 1 to 22, who are residing in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta, and are posted there will be able to receive rents within the Railways budget.
Previously, the Pakistan Railways had also announced special monthly operational allowance for traffic yard employees, which was approved by the finance division.
