Islamabad: Pakistan Railways has decided to start the upgradation of its passenger and freight ecosystems digitally through SAP S/4HANA with SAP Ariba E-Procurement, according to news published on November 29.

A contract was signed between Railways IT Director Aijaz Ahmad Bijarani and TallyMarks Consulting (TMC) Managing Director Abdul Haseeb for digitally upgrading the ecosystem. The managing director, speaking at the ceremony, stated that the adoption of SAP S/4HANA by the railways will provide a 360-degree solution. It will address all the concerns to improve customer satisfaction and revenue.
As per the details, the digital ecosystem will help transform the railways and modernise the approach, view, and interaction of the customers, business partners, employees, and other public sector entities.
