Lahore: Railways stations of 10 cities including Lahore will be upgraded, according to a news report. A meeting was conducted on the matter at the Pakistan Railways Headquarters.
The meeting was chaired by Railways Chairman Muhammad Javed Anwer and was attended by other high officials as well. Managing Director Stations Shahrukh Afshaar briefed the meeting about upgrading the stations.
The stations that will be upgraded include Narowal, Nankana Sahib, Hassan Abdal, Sahiwal, Okara, Bahawalpur, Raiwind, Rohri, Gujranwala, and Lahore. Railways Chairman also instructed MD Stations to plant as many plants and trees as possible within the boundaries of these upgraded stations.
