Bahawalpur: The final phase of the Quaid-i-Azam Solar Park (QASP) project which will generate 600 megawatts of electricity is near completion, a news source reported. QASP officials briefed Punjab Minister for Energy Dr. Akhtar Malik on the matter.
The minister was told that the first two phases of the project had already been completed earlier and now work is near completion in the final phase. About 80 per cent of the work on the third phase of the project has been completed, while the construction of a 220KV grid station is also in its final stages.
