Lahore: The Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC) has approved strategic plans to expand the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park in Lahore. According to the details, this decision, made during a recent board meeting, includes an updated selection process for external auditors and ratification of the previous meeting’s minutes.
The Board also decided to move forward with proposals for establishing new industrial zones in Sialkot and Rawalpindi, as well as for expanding both the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park and the Multan Industrial Estate. These plans will be submitted to the Punjab government for approval.
Chairman Javed Iqbal highlighted that PIEDMC aims to optimise resources to enhance facilities and streamline business operations for industrialists, with a focus on accelerating industrial and economic growth in Punjab.

Attendees included board members Shahzad Azam Khan, Sajid Saleem Minhas, Dr Shahid Raza, Ali Hassam Asghar, Sohail Azhar, Mian Noman Kabir, and Ahmed Khan, alongside PIEDMC CEO Ali Muazzam Syed and officials from the Industries, Finance, Planning & Development, and TEVTA departments.
