Peshawar: Peshawar Superintendent Police (SP) Traffic Sahibzada Sajjad on Saturday announced that the Peshawar Traffic Police Department was planning to construct a dedicated car parking space for the city’s Qissa Khwani Bazar area, according to a news source.
Reportedly, the proposal to set-up the new parking space will be drafted thorough consultations with traders of the market. SP Sajjad further said that the government was already aware of the parking issues that prevail in the Qissa Khwani Bazar and was determined to solve these problems in a timely manner. He added that the project would also include the removal of encroachments from the market area as well.
As per the information available, special stickers will be issued for traders in order to make vehicle parking easier for the people working in the market. The SP added that some of the other issues faced by the traders of this market would also be addressed, on a priority basis.
