Lahore: The #PunjabEase campaign for the Pakistan Pavilion has been inaugurated at the Expo 2020 Dubai, according to a news source. The pavilion is attracting investors and international business collaborations at a global scale.

As per the sources, the #PunjabEase campaign has already attracted as many as 35,000 visitors in the first five days alone. The visitors and potential investors attended seminars, panel talks and had a look at the projects displayed by 18 different sectors and departments of Punjab.
The various departments of the Punjab government are showing presentations, documentaries and augmented reality immersions in November, ‘which will allow visitors to experience the colours of Punjab’.
Reportedly, the first week was oriented around housing, construction, and urban development. The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and the Central Business District Development Authority (CBDDA) briefed attendees about projects and investment opportunities. Both the departments hosted a series of seminars on eco-cities & tech cities and cross-disciplinary approaches to development.
Additionally, the Bank of Punjab (BoP) also organised a seminar on Roshan Digital Account and Ease of Access for expats. Special seminars were hosted that focused on the Punjab government’s efforts to increase the ease of business to connect the region to potential investors and global markets.

Moreover, the #PunjabEase Going Global theme also showcased the colours and sounds of Punjab so the visitors can experience the rich culture of the land of five rivers. Cultural performances from Punjab were organised by the central courtyard which included traditional bhangra dance, Punjabi thappa performance, traditional Punjabi songs, and dhol performances.
The Pakistan Pavilion’s heightened attention aggravated as Pakistani influencers, actors, and celebrities including Ahmed Ali Butt, Parisheh James, leading fashion designer Sania Maskatiya, and fashion industry veteran Freiha Altaf visited the pavilion.
The #PunjabEase led by the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) at the Pakistan Pavilion is exhibiting natural beauty, hospitality, emerging modernity, history, contemporary entertainment, and multiculturalism of the province through concerts, performance, art installations, and seminars.

For the rest of the week, the focus will be on construction sector urban development. In the second week of the month, the focus will be on the tourism and cultural department’s projects and seminars.
