Lahore: The Central Business District (CBD) Punjab CEO Imran Amin has said that Completing Walton Road Upgradation Project is the authority’s top priority, as reported on July 24.

As per details, Amin was chairing a review meeting of the road project that aims to improve the road infrastructure in Lahore. Addressing the meeting, Amin stated that the organization is dedicated to enhancing Lahore’s infrastructure to serve its residents and support the city’s growth. CEO highlighted the proactive measures taken during the monsoon season as a demonstration of their commitment to excellence and community well-being, and assured that they will continue working diligently to complete the project on time and to the highest standards.
Imran Amin also stressed the need to expedite the project, calling for an increase in workforce and machinery to meet the deadline set by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz. The CBD CEO was informed that the Major Ishaq Shaheed Flyover, a key component of the project, is now 85% complete, with the removal of shuttering scheduled to begin soon. This flyover is crucial for improving traffic flow in the area.

The sub-base work on Walton Road is finished, and the water-bound layer construction is currently in progress. Additionally, disposal stations are set to become operational shortly.
