Lahore: The Punjab Land Revenue Authority (PLRA) collected PKR 11.34 billion from the property transfer and mutation processes during the fiscal year (FY) 2021-22, news sources reported on September 21.

According to official sources, the revenue generated from 0.843177 million land-related processes including land transfers, no-objection certificates, mutations, and fard certificates, totalled PKR 11.343639 billion from different online and offline locations. The following is a thorough breakdown of the revenue generated:
- PKR 10.9276 billion was collected under land transfer fee
- PKR 41.59 million was collected under service charges fee

Moreover, as per the details, various service land record centres across Punjab approved applications as per the following:
- Over 33,070 land transfers were made through express counters
- In total 450,157 property transfers were made at non-express counters
- As many as 23,210 land transfers were made through the Bank of Punjab (BOP)
- As many as 14,877 transfers were made through mobile van services
- A total of 5,473 transfers were made through the Punjab Heredity Registrar (Qanungo) office
- As many as 276,890 land transfer applications were processed at Rural Revenue offices across the province.
