Lahore: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) Punjab on Tuesday (September 20) approved eight new schemes worth over PKR 6 billion, news sources reported.

The approved schemes include infrastructure development projects, government buildings’ maintenance, and road development. The schemes were approved during the 13th meeting of the PDWP, held at 90 Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam and presided over by Chairman of the Planning & Development Board Abdullah Khan Sumbal.
Some of the details shared about the schemes approved in the meeting are as follows:
- PKR 474.780 million was approved for the improvement and renovation of Punjab House, Islamabad
- PKR 677.28 million was approved for the rehabilitation of the 5.85-kilometre-long Metalled Road from Muzaffargarh to Punjnad Road
- PKR 645.632 million was approved for the rehabilitation of the 18.20-kilometre-long Kunjha Dinga Road, District Gujrat
