Lahore: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party ((PDWP) on Monday (November 21) approved development projects worth PKR 57.6 billion, news sources reported.

The projects were approved at the 29th meeting of the Planning & Development Board and included the following projects:
- PKR 24.646 billion has been allocated for the Punjab Police Integrated Command, Control and Communication (PPIC3) Centre, Rawalpindi (Revised)
- PKR 16.53 billion has been allocated for the Umbrella PC-I/Cost Estimate for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of 87 No. Roads in Rajanpur, 97 No. Roads in Taunsa and 30 No. Roads in D.G. Khan
- PKR 5.969 billion has been set aside for the management of Sori Lund Hill Torrent (Jamallar & Talli Branch)
- PKR 4.815 billion has been allocated for the management of Vidor Hill Torrent (Suchani & Phullar Branch)
- PKR 2.88 billion has been approved for the construction of Building of Women’s University, Sialkot on an Acquired Piece of Land at Sialkot

- PKR 1.566 billion has been set aside for the construction of a 3-kilometre-long Metalled Road from Sheikhupura Interchange (M-2) to QAAP along the Motorway
- PKR 1.245 billion has been allocated for the Provision of River Training Works for the Protection of Link No. 1 in D.G. Khan
