According to the details, a press release disclosed that the total valuation of the retrieved lands exceeds PKR 43 million. Citizens, perturbed by illicit farming and encroachments on government property within their vicinities, sought redressal through the ombudsman’s office, advocating for the expulsion of trespassers from state-owned lands.

Prompted by these grievances, the provincial ombudsman dispatched directives to concerned assistant commissioners and municipal committee chiefs, tasking them with the retrieval of state lands and the subsequent submission of compliance reports to the central office.
