Rawalpindi: The Government of Punjab, in line with Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s vision to promote the construction sector, has approved a timeline for the completion of private housing developments as well as the payment of condonation fees and conversion charges, according to a news report published today (July 8).
As per the official notification, the processing timeline for the private housing applications’ approval is fixed at six days. The no-objection certification (NoC) applications will be submitted to the deputy commissioner.

The additional deputy commissioner revenue (ADCR) will mark the relevant assistant commissioner within a day – who will have to report back within three days.
For the applications of land-use conversions, one single day will be given for submission to the deputy commissioner. The ARDC will be marked and will then mark the relevant assistant commissioner in one day.

Furthermore, the deputy commissioner will – in three days – meet the District Price Assessment Committee to determine the price, and will send the file for the commissioner’s approval – who will have three days to issue fees submission notice – and the NOC will be granted the day next.
It will fall upon the deputy commissioner in charge to ensure strict adherence to the communicated timelines for the processing of cases. He/she will also be coordinating with the Khidmat Markaz established at the Divisional Headquarters to facilitate the construction sector.
