Lahore: Provincial Minister for Housing and Urban Development Mian Aslam Iqbal announced that Punjab will get three new low-cost housing schemes, according to news published on August 26.

In the 86th board meeting of Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA), the plan to launch three new housing schemes was approved. It was mentioned that Al-Rasheed Garden in Gujranwala, Campbellpur Greens in Attock, and Al-Noor Garden Residencia in Sangla Hill will be constructed to provide affordable and quality residential facilities to the people.

Moreover, a monitoring committee was also established to check the progress of the housing schemes. It was disclosed that a 20% quota will be reserved for Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) in all the housing projects. Housing Minister Iqbal directed the developers to expedite the work on housing schemes and ensure the highest quality of development. He went on to say that the NPHP was the government’s utmost priority and we aim to complete the maximum number of housing schemes in the shortest possible time.
