Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Sunday said that Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) would benefit from enhanced cooperation and partnership in the fields of food security and information technology (IT), a news source reported.

He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, which took place at the Punjab House in Islamabad.
Provincial ministers Samiullah Chaudhry and Hafiz Mumtaz Ahmed, KP adviser Ajmal Wazir, and parliamentarians Riaz Khan, Pir Musawwar, and Syed Fakhar Jehan, were all present at the occasion.
Buzdar remarked that the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) could collaborate with the KP government for improving food security. He added that public service delivery could be improved through collaboration in the IT sector.

Moreover, the chief ministers discussed the possibility of enhancing trade ties by improving the existing infrastructure of the provinces. They exchanged suggestions with regard to developing tourist destinations.
