Lahore: The Punjab government Economic Affairs Division has announced receiving international assistance for eleven development projects in the province, news sources reported. A total of 26 projects were proposed to donors and international financial institutions for funding.

The following are some of the programmes that have received financial assistance:
- PKR 780 million has been provided by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for the South Punjab remote districts development
World Bank (WB) has provided assistance in the following projects:
- PKR PKR 4.54 billion for the Punjab Integrated Agriculture Productivity Improvement project
- PKR 3.82 billion the Human Capital Development Project
- PKR1.88 billion for the Third Punjab Education Sector Project
- PKR 270.7 million for the Punjab Cities Project
- PKR 6.2 million for the Punjab Tourism for Economic Growth Project
- Japan has provided PKR 540 million for the Punjab Transmission and Grid project

Asian Development Bank (ADB) has provided assistance for the following projects:
- PKR 1.98 billion for the Punjab Intermediate Improvement Project
- PKR 530.65 million for the Head Trimmu and Panjnad improvement project.
- PKR 210.65 million has been provided by for Urban Development Project
- PKR 50 million has been received for the Punjab water Resource project
